埼玉県５か年計画
ゆとりとチャンスの埼玉プラン／The Saitama 5-year Plan
人口減少・超高齢社会の到来やIT（情報通信技術）の発達・普及、グローバル化の進展など、時代の大きな転換期を迎える中で、平成19年度からの５年間に本県が取り組むべき施策の体系を明らかにした計画です。
この計画を基本に、「ゆとりとチャンスの埼玉」を目指していきます。

一人一人の県民が持てる力を十分に生かし、それぞれが抱く夢の実現に向けてチャレンジできる、チャンスにあふれた埼玉を目指します。
住みやすく環境にやさしい
ゆとりの田園都市 埼玉
これからは、暮らしやすい都市へ再生していくチャンスや豊かな自然環境を保全・回復できる可能性がふくらみます。都市と田園の魅力をともに高める埼玉を目指します。
埼玉安心戦略
埼玉県が目指す将来像の実現のため設定した４つの戦略的な取組が「埼玉安心戦略」。計画期間中はこの戦略に基づき施策を展開し、「ゆとりとチャンスの埼玉」の実現に努めます。

Saitama’s plan for comfort and opportunity
As we enter a new era, with an aging society, falling population, the growth of IT and advances of globalization, this plan is the system of policies that Saitama Prefecture will implement during the 5 year period beginning in FY 2007.
Vision of “Saitama Comfort & Opportunity”
Safe & Secure Saitama Where Everybody Can Live with Peace of Mind
Saitama will enhance its welfare, healthcare, and medical treatment systems, crisis management, and disaster and crime prevention systems so that residents of Saitama can live with peace of mind.
Challenge and Opportunities, Everybody can have a Dream
The Prefectural Government seeks a Saitama full of opportunities where people can take advantage of their potential to fulfill their dreams.
Saitama, a Livable and Environmentally Friendly Rural & Garden City of Comfort
Cities will be revitalized to be more livable, full of opportunities, and have increased potential to recover and maintain the rich natural environment. The Saitama Prefectural Government will strive to enhance the charms of its cities and rural towns.
