埼玉はアニメの聖地！
埼玉県にはアニメに関係する場所がいっぱい！主人公が住んでいるという設定の街では、アニメとコラボして、さまざまな地域振興を行っています。
「鉄腕アトム」
鉄腕アトムが物語の中で誕生した記念の年、(株)手塚プロダクション新座スタジオのある新座市の特別住民に登録。アトムは10万馬力で新座市を応援しています。
アニメ「らき☆すた」
主人公が住んでいる設定となっている久喜市（旧鷲宮町）。毎年9 月に行われる「土師（はじ）祭」では「らき☆すた」をモチーフにした御輿が登場します。
「クレヨンしんちゃん」
春日部市に特別住民登録されている「クレヨンしんちゃん」一家。春日部市の子育て応援キャラクターになっています。
埼玉のご当地グルメ！
「おいしい」「安い」「みんなに愛されている」と三拍子そろった埼玉のB級ご当地グルメ。その素晴らしさを競う「埼玉Ｂ級ご当地グルメ王決定戦」は大変な人気。ぜひ、みなさんも一度、食べてみてください！

埼玉西武ライオンズ
昭和53 年に所沢市を本拠地とする西武ライオンズが誕生した。前身の西鉄時代を含めると、パシフィック･リーグでの優勝21 回、日本シリーズでの優勝13回を誇る。平成20 年、球団創設30 周年を迎えるに当たり、より地域に根差し、ファンに愛されることを目指し、球団名を埼玉西武ライオンズに変更。同年、日本シリーズを制するとともに、初のアジアチャンピオンに輝いた。
浦和レッドダイヤモンズ
平成4 年に旧浦和市（現 さいたま市）に誕生。浦和駒場スタジアムと埼玉スタジアム2002 をホームスタジアムに、地元に根差したクラブづくりを進めている。国内の数々のタイトルを獲得し、平成19 年には、AFCアジアチャンピオンズリーグにて初優勝。FIFA クラブワールドカップでも3位となり、日本のみならずアジアを代表するクラブとなった。
大宮アルディージャ
平成10 年に旧大宮市（現 さいたま市）をホームタウンに誕生。チーム名のアルディージャとは旧大宮市のマスコット的存在でもある「リス」をスペイン語にしたもの。「アルディージャの誓い」の一つである「アルディージャのある明るい街づくり！」を永遠のテーマに、積極的に地域に密着した活動を行っている。
埼玉ブロンコス
平成８年に、日本初の市民球団「所沢ブロンコス」として誕生。その後、ホームタウンを県全域に広げ「さいたまブロンコス」に改名。平成17 年、チーム10シーズン目という節目の年に日本初のプロバスケットボールリーグ「bj リーグ」の発足に伴いプロ球団「埼玉ブロンコス」となる。
埼玉スタジアム2002
Ｊリーグや日本代表などの試合でおなじみ。アジア最大級のサッカー専用スタジアムです。

Saitama Seibu Lions
The Seibu Lions professional baseball team was established in 1978 with the city of Tokorozawa serving as its home grounds. In 2008, the team celebrated its 30th anniversary, and in order to further secure its roots and gain increased support among local fans, the team name was changed to the Saitama Seibu Lions. During this same year, the Lions won the Japan Series for the first time and they continue to thrive in their first experience as the Asian champions.
Urawa Red Diamonds
The team was organized in 1992 and since then has won many titles in Japan, including their first victory in the Asian Champions League of the Asian Football Confederation in 2007. The club represents not only Japan but also Asia.
Omiya Ardija
The team was born in Omiya City（now Saitama City）in 1998. The team is named after the Spanish word for“ squirrel,” and is a very active team in the community.
Saitama Broncos
The Broncos formed in 1996 as a citizens’basketball team, the Tokorozawa Broncos, the very first team of its kind in Japan. In 2005, the team became a professional team in the very first inauguration in Japan of the professional basketball “bj League”.
Saitama Stadium 2002
Well-known from J League and Japan national team matches.This is one of the largest soccer-only stadiums in Asia.
