Message from the Governor
Saitama Prefecture is highly convenient in terms of traffic and transport, blessed with nature, abundant with human resources, and many thriving businesses exist here. Certainly, Saitama Prefecture is a frontier with limitless possibilities.
When I became Governor I had three philosophies. They were; to firmly instill safety and security in all fields of government administration’, ‘to turn the Prefectural Office into an excellent management body’, and ‘to turn the Prefectural Office into Saitama’s number one service industry’. The government is still pouring all its efforts into those philosophies.
For Saitama to realize its potential and become a leading prefecture in Japan will require all prefectural citizens to lend their support.
